1.  Apostle(s):  messengers or "sent ones" generally but not exclusively applied to the original twelve followers of christ.

2.  Atonement:  reconciliation; repartion for an offense; cleansing

3.  Baptism(s), Baptist, Baptize(d):  a christian sacrament; a washing with water symbolizing cleansing from sin, linked with repentance and admission into the community of faith.

4.  Born Again: regeneration by the Holy Spirit

5.  Christ:  Son of God, Messiah, Anointed one

6.  Christian(ity)(s):  one(s) belonging to Christ; believers

7.  Church(es): "assembly" or "called out ones"  the body of believers gathered to worship Jesus (not the building in which they meet)

8.  Commandment(s): a gracious provision of God's law or covenant, obeyed as an act of love and devotion.

9.  Confess(ed): to admit or acknowladge (sin or faith)

10.  Crucified, Crucifixion, Crucify:  to execute or nail to the cross.

11.  Deacon(s): servant;  officer of the church

12.  Devil:  Satan;  enemy of God and everything good.

13.  Disciple(s):  student or follower of some doctrine  or teacher.

14.  Forgiven(ness):  to pardon or acquit of sins.

15.  Gentile(s):  non-Jewish nations

16.  God:  eternal, infinite Spirit; Creator,  Redeemer, Sovergin Lord.

17.  gods: impotent pagan deity

18.  Grace:  God's free and unmerited favor toward sinful humanity

19.  Hell:  abode of the place of punishment

20.  Idols: images of false gods

21.  Jesus: name given to the Messiah or Savior

22.  Passover: the historic event (when God's judgement passed over the Hebrews)

23.  Prayer: conversation with God in praise, thanksgiving, or intercession.

24.  Prophecy: the spoken or written word from God

25.  Prophet(s):  an interpreter of the times and of people's hearts; one who issues an oracle or "the word of the Lord"

26.  Repent:  to be sorry; change heart and behavior;  a moral u-turn from sin to God.

27.  Resurrection: rising from the dead with new life.

28.  Sacrifice(s):  worship offering; devotion to God.

29.  Salvation:  deliverance from slavery or from some great distress by the intervention of God.

30.  Save(d): rescue or preserve from danger; deliver from sin

31.  Savior: one who delivers (from trouble, sin or judgement)

32.  Scriptures:  the Law, the entire collection of sacred books

33.  Sins:  moral evil;  transgression of or rebellion against God's law.

34.  Sinner(s): those guilty of sin

35.  Spirit:  the third member of the Trinity,  with God the Father and Jesus the Son.

36.  Worship:  the appropriate response to God's self-revelation.

37.  Wrath:  God's response to sin.
